Located in an appealing traditional Chinese courtyard with a winding
creek and blossoming flowers, Zenspa is a peaceful hideaway from the
city. Large private rooms are decorated with a touch of Thai style. With
professional masseuses from around the world, customers are guaranteed to
feel like royalty. .

A soothing shower in a cobblestone floored room starts the spa journey.
Under the instruction of masseuses, visitors choose a spa style that best
suits their needs. Thirty-six-year-old Ms. Xiao, overloaded with the
double burden of work and family likes the heated herbal medicine ball
massage and personally tailored essential oils aromatherapy. All herbal
medicines are from Thailand and concocted following secret Thai recipes.
For her, the detoxifying slim mix oil is the best for depleting all the
harmful physical and spiritual toxins accumulated a hectic life and
overtime work. After two hours, Ms. Xiao leaves Zen Spa thoroughly
refreshed.

Shangquan Spa is decorated in deep colors and its pristine, quiet

Spa, it is evening, and the only single room available has a tub next to
the window. Anticipating that Eve may be cold, the receptionist
recommends a double room, decorated in a lavish French style. It seems a
bit large, but to Eve, who chooses a detoxifying natural treatment, it's
worthwhile.

The masseuse treats Eve to a milk, bee honey, essential oil and almond
cream exfoliating treatment for dry skin, a detoxifying essential oil
massage for her strained back and swollen legs and gives her a hot cup of
flower tea to warm her body and soul. The treatment leaves Eve feeling
relaxed and revitalized and as a side bonus, her acne disappears.
